The TYCP5 series low-speed direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor is built on core technologies of permanent magnet drive and high energy efficiency. The system comprises a permanent magnet variable-frequency motor and a dedicated variable-frequency control unit, replacing the traditional combination of asynchronous motors, gear reducers, and auxiliary equipment. This integration enhances reliability and transmission efficiency. These motors enable S-curve starting under low-speed, heavy-load conditions, offering key advantages such as low speed, high torque, high transmission efficiency, smooth operation, compact structure, and minimal space requirements. The accompanying dedicated variable-frequency control unit utilizes vector control for precise torque management, delivering high efficiency, excellent electromagnetic compatibility, and strong environmental adaptability. Ideal for continuous-duty machinery requiring variable speed and high torque, this product is suitable for applications including mixing tanks, belt conveyors, elevators, ball mills, crushers, and cooling towers. Common medium-voltage distribution levels for coal mines and large industrial sites; at the same power level, current is approximately 0.58 times that of 380V systems, reducing cable cross-section and line losses.
For the same model, output power, speed, efficiency, power factor, and torque remain constant regardless of voltage; only the rated current is adjusted using I = IN × 380 / U. Dual-voltage motor models (380/660V and 660/1140V) are switched via jumpers in the terminal box. The 1140V model is designed for high-voltage supply in underground coal mines and requires verification that its explosion-proof certification covers the application. Variable frequency drives (VFDs) are categorized by supply voltage; specify the site supply voltage, phase count, and frequency at the time of order.
