This product is manufactured by Wolong Electric Drive. The WEPM series variable-frequency permanent magnet synchronous motor is a PM solution designed for general industrial energy-saving retrofits. Featuring rare-earth permanent magnet excitation, it eliminates rotor excitation current and copper losses, achieving IE4 energy efficiency levels. Frame sizes range from 56 to 315, with rated power from 0.25 to 315kW, rated voltage of 380V, and rated frequency of 50Hz. Rated speeds are available in three options: 3000r/min, 1500r/min, and 1000r/min. The motor features a totally enclosed fan-cooled (IC411) design with an IP55 protection rating. Insulation class F is used, with temperature rise evaluated at Class B standards. Small frame models use aluminum alloy housings for rapid heat dissipation and lightweight construction, while medium and large frames utilize cast iron housings for superior rigidity and vibration resistance. Paired with a dedicated vector inverter, the motor delivers wide-range constant-torque speed control below rated speed, offering significant energy savings on variable-torque loads such as fans and pumps. Installation dimensions are fully compatible with asynchronous motors of the same frame size, enabling direct replacement of inefficient legacy motors. This provides a cost-effective solution for upgrading existing equipment.
