JUMO Water Quality Analysis Sensor

pH and ORP Measurement: pH is the most common measurement in water analysis. In the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, product quality largely depends on maintaining a narrow pH range. Accurate pH measurement helps increase the yield of high-quality finished products while reducing defects. Since 1947, JUMO has produced glass thermometers in Fulda. Starting in the 70s of the 20 century, we began manufacturing glass components for pH electrodes. Today, JUMO is one of Europe's leading producers of electrochemical sensors, offering OEM versions and custom designs. pH and oxidation-reduction (ORP) electrodes are available with glass or plastic bodies tailored to specific applications. The electrode portfolio includes: - **JUMO ecoLine/BlackLine** (Datasheets 201005, 201010): Standard applications for drinking water, greenhouses, handheld devices, pools, aquariums, and surface water. Available in glass or plastic with ceramic or fiberglass diaphragms. - **JUMO tecLine & tecLine HD/HY** (Datasheets 201020–201027): Designed for industrial applications requiring high mechanical strength. Features include plastic housings and diaphragms made of ceramic, fiberglass, PTFE, perforated, or ring-gap types. Ideal for process monitoring, high-temperature environments, suspensions, electroplating, varnishes, wastewater, ultrapure water, heavy contamination, and hygienic/sterile sectors like boiler feedwater. - **JUMO tecLine PRO** (Datasheets 201020, 201025): Equipped with ring-gap diaphragms for wastewater treatment, papermaking, and chemical processing. - **JUMO labLine** (Datasheets 201030, {14)}): Suitable for laboratory measurements and food industry insertion applications. - **JUMO ISFET** (Datasheet 201050): Glass-free design with high mechanical wear resistance and an integrated temperature sensor. pH, ORP, and temperature transmitters/controllers are used in conjunction with these electrodes. Conductivity Measurement: Electrode-based conductivity is the second most common analytical parameter after pH. Applications include seawater desalination and monitoring ultrapure or cooling water quality. JUMO offers a wide range of two- and four-pole electrode technologies, including hygienic models. - **JUMO BlackLine CR-GT/-EC/-GS** (Datasheets 202922, 202931): Compact and cost-effective. Electrode constants K=0.01/0.1/0.25/1.0; measuring range 0.05µS/cm to approx. 10mS/cm. Materials include special graphite, stainless steel 1.4571, titanium, platinum, or graphite. Used for drinking water, ion exchange and reverse osmosis systems, aquariums, lightly contaminated rinse tanks, and general water treatment. - **JUMO ecoLine CR-PVC** (Datasheet 202923): Three-way insertion type with K=0.1 or 1.0. Range: 1µS/cm~15mS/cm. Ideal for HVAC systems, drinking/pool water, industrial cleaning, and process water treatment. - **JUMO tecLine CR & CR S01** (Datasheets 202924, 202928): Robust design with various process connections. Pharma-grade models include ASTM certificates. Suitable for high-temperature applications. Constants K=0.01/0.1/1.0; range 0.05µS/cm~5mS/cm. Materials: Stainless steel 1.4571/1.4435/1.4404 or titanium. Applied in pure/ultrapure water, boiler feedwater, semiconductor production, ion exchange/reverse osmosis systems. - **JUMO tecLine CR-GT** (Datasheet 202925): Industrial electrode with built-in temperature compensation. K=1.0; range 10µS/cm~15mS/cm. Graphite material for drinking water, wastewater, and process water. - **JUMO tecLine CR-4P with JUMO PEKA** (Datasheet 202930): Wide measuring range 1µS/cm~600mS/cm, K=0.3~0.4. Hygienic design with stainless steel 1.4435. Used for CIP/SIP applications, food/beverage cleaning, pharma, and biotechnology. For ultrapure water conductivity measurement per European Pharmacopoeia (EP) standards, electrode constants must be certified by the manufacturer. JUMO tecLine CR stainless steel or titanium versions offer optional ASTM test certificates showing factory-measured constants for direct input into transmitters. Electromagnetic conductivity sensors do not contact the solution directly, making them ideal for corrosive, high-temperature cleaning agents in CIP equipment and occasional high-conductivity spikes. Key models include **JUMO CTI-750** (stainless steel housing) and **hygienic JUMO tecLine Ci**. The CTI-750 model monitors and controls cleaning agent concentration via conductivity, saving cleaning agents and water resources. Digital Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity, and Disinfectant Ammonia Measurement: JUMO digiLine CR and digiLine Ci digital sensors are available in integrated and split configurations. Split models connect the transmitter and sensor via a cable for specialized installations and can be integrated via JUMO digiLine or IO-Link interfaces. - **digiLine Ci ST10** (Split 202760) and **Ci HT10** (Integrated 202761): Probe materials PP/PVDF/PEEK.
