JUMO AutomationJUMO plastoSENS T Plastic-Encapsulated Temperature Probe
Product Format: JUMO plastoSENS T01 with connection cable (Data Sheet 904001) and JUMO plastoSENS T02 with connection cable (Data Sheet 904002). These units resemble traditional temperature probes but feature a new thermoplastic encapsulation process. Materials & Construction: Combines conductive and non-conductive plastics to improve response time and reduce thermal conduction errors. The plastic-encapsulated sensors provide a solution for vibration-prone moving parts such as motors, gearboxes, and generators. The plastoSENS T02 withstands extreme vibration, eliminating the installation challenges associated with conventional probes that require vibration-resistant mounting locations. Custom Development: Offers fully customizable designs tailored to specific thermoplastic applications, turning customer-specific requirements into advantages. The development process adapts to individual needs. Simulation software models the thermal characteristics of new designs, enabling rapid and cost-effective implementation. Performance Specifications: Temperature range -50 to +200°C. Sensor options include SMD, NTC, PTC, and Pt. Probes are designed to resist vibration, withstand voltage, maintain steam tightness, and feature optimized surfaces. Applications: Ideal for monitoring rotor blades, gearboxes, generators, and other moving components within nacelles in wind turbines, as well as process measurements requiring custom-shaped enclosures and vibration-resistant mounting.
